4 October 2021 at 12:00 (noon) ET: CaRMS application opens

8 December 2021 at 12:00 (noon) ET: Program selection opens

17 January 2022 DEADLINE: Transcripts and MSPRs sent by faculties (NOT requiring translation)
-
30 January 2022 DEADLINE: Reference (LOR) submission
-
31 January 2022 at 12:00 (noon) ET DEADLINE: Submission and assignment of applications and documents

31 January 2022 at 12:05 ET

File review begins, programs now have access to all submitted applications and documents.

Programs may now start updating applicants’ interview offer status
-
Thus DON'T feel rushed to submit as early as possible, however we suggest you submit at least 3 days before this so that there are no issues!

18 February 2022 DEADLINE: Interview offer status updates in CaRMS Online (prior to sending interview invitations)

28 February 2022 - 20 March 2022: National interview period

7 March 2022 at 12:00 (noon) ET: Ranking period begins
Applicants and programs may begin creating their rank order lists in CaRMS Online. -
31 March 2022 at 15:00 ET DEADLINE: Applicant rank order list

12 April 2022 at 12:00 (noon) ET: MATCH DAY

MCCQE Part 1

Apply up to 15 months prior to expected date of graduation (This year May 15, 2021 – check with International Medicine Office for graduation date in 2023)

Only 5 ‘sessions’ each year, not all are eligible for 2023 match timeline

Can write the NAC if you are completing your medical degree requirements within 12 months of the date of the exam
